Last week, we had a delivery straight from the big jolly man himself! Our class elf finally arrived, and he brought a special North Pole breakfast with him! He brought our class, snow covered donuts, Santa kisses, and reindeer kiss from Rudolph and his friends! You could hear the thrill of excitement all through the school when Alvin arrived!
We read the book Santa sent with our elf, and he told us that we had to name him before his magic could start working! We had so many wonderful names to choose from, but after a class vote, we decided on...Alvin! Now, let me tell you a little bit about Alvin! He is a very sweet elf, but he is also very mischievous when he gets to our classroom before the children arrive. You see, he gets a little bored when he is in the classroom all by himself, and he ends up doing some very silly things. He is also VERY encouraging. He really likes to write notes to my little friends...and they LOVE it! Here are a few pictures of Alvin and his mischievous ways! :)
Here is Alvin enjoying a little bit of milk and cookies!
Alvin wrote my sweet friend Kinsley a note telling her how proud he was of her super reading skills!
One day, we found him fishing above our cubbies.
We have also found him with chocolate smeared all over his face (he brought some to share with us of course), dressed up as Rudolph, and one day, he made a snow angel on our bookshelf! We cannot leave him alone for too long :) But...he has been reporting back to ole St. Nick every night reporting all the good behavior from my sweet friends!
