What a fun day! Our day started with Donuts for Dads. All the dads were invited to our school to enjoy a yummy donut breakfast with their little sweeties. When all my little firsties finally made it to the classroom, we noticed that we had a little visitor! He left little tiny green footprints ALL over our classroom, and he even turned the water in our bathroom green!!!! (We decided he must have jumped in to was all the green paint off of his shoes!).

We also played a very fun math game! They LOVED playing this awesome game!
Next, we grabbed our passports and luggage and headed to Ireland!
We learned all about their culture and the country itself.
Then...we had the GREAT POTATO RACE OF 2012!
Soooo....we made a ramp and rolled two different types of potatoes down it. The winner of the Great Potato Race of 2012 was...THE SWEET POTATO!!!!
On your mark...get set...GOOOOO!!!!
Victoria was our score keeper! She did a GREAT job!
We even had a little extra time to dance to an Irish jig :)
We ended this day of fun by making a special St. Patrick's Day treat!
